What you need to know

• We may remove or restrict access to the identified material while we review a claim.
• If a counter-notification is received, we may restore the material unless the original claimant files legal action.
• Repeat infringement can lead to account or access termination.

Our commitment to intellectual property

Chappalmania honors the creators behind the styles you love. We respond to clear, valid copyright complaints under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act by investigating and, when appropriate, removing or disabling access to allegedly infringing material.

Filing a notice

To help us act quickly, your DMCA notice must include all of the following:

1. A physical or electronic signature of the person authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed, or a representative list if multiple works are covered by one notice.
3. Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing and information reasonably sufficient to locate the material (including the specific URL on chappalmania.com).
4. Your contact information, including full name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
6. A statement that the information in the notice is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner’s behalf.

Counter-notification

If your material was removed or access was disabled and you believe it was a mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification that includes:

1. Your physical or electronic signature.
2. Identification of the material that has been removed or to which access has been disabled and the location of the material before it was removed or disabled (include the exact URL on chappalmania.com).
3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
4. Your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for your address (if in the United States), or if outside the United States, to any judicial district in which Chappalmania may be found, and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original DMCA notice or their agent.

Send your counter-notification to: [email protected]. Upon receipt, we will forward it to the original claimant. Unless the claimant notifies us that they have filed court action, we may restore the material within a reasonable time.

Repeat infringer policy

We track valid notices and may limit, suspend, or terminate access for users who repeatedly infringe copyrights. We also reserve the right to remove content without prior notice when we believe it violates the rights of others.
